"Dawning of an Angel"

Enchantingly beautiful both inside and out, Dawn Maria Ott-Larsen was said to "have been touched by the angels” when she left her mark of beauty on all that she touched with her brush.  A decorative painter by nature, she decided to apply her talents to canvas.  While tinkering with watercolors, she created this one and only painting.  Shortly before her passing from an aneurysm in 1998 she had decided the angel was finished - choosing not to complete the facial details because she believed it was “an angel for everyone.”

As a family, we have named this painting “Dawning of an Angel.” We believe the vivid and shimmering color will capture the hearts of many and embrace them with a feeling of being “touched by the angels.”
